For those looking for a perfect balance of work-life and pleasure, Seattle gives the ideal blend of a busy but fun-loving city. It has beautiful waterfront views and a wonderful skyline facing eastward toward Kirkland. It is a city replete with education, sports, housing, and outdoor lifestyle options.

It is a major trade hub due to its ports and is commercially vibrant, with companies such as Boeing having localized their factories there. Amazon was also founded in Seattle in 1994. Amazon, Starbucks, and Nordstrom, which featured on the 2017 Fortune 500 list are headquartered in Seattle. Being a coastal city, it majors as a gateway to Asia and offers boat cruises to Alaska. In areas of tourism and sport, Seattle leads the line with the presence of sites like the Seattle Great Wheel, the Woodland Park Zoo, the Chihuly Garden and Glass and several live theaters. It is home to Major League Soccer team, Seattle Sounders F.C, and WNBA’s Seattle Storm, which are both very successful teams.

Transportation is more than adequately provided for Seattle’s large population with ferries, electric trolleybuses, commuter, and intercity trains more than catering for the city’s needs. Nicknamed ‘the Emerald City’ by some, Seattle’s exquisite scenery draws you in and is easily one of the most beautiful cities in Washington. The city is vivacious, featuring several annual events like the Seattle Pride Fest, the 24-day Seattle International Film Festival, and the Seafair Parade.
